Mia Coomber is 12 years old and has had a long and keen interest in books. They are an avid reader. Mia has been interested in fiction writing from an early age writing short stories and poetry. With considerable insight Mia explores the dynamics of interpersonal relating: the quest for truth and authenticity, the struggles inherent in finding and securing one’s own place in a world that is not always inclusive. Using genres of fantasy and mystery Mia plays with mythical and archetypal themes, pitching opposites and contradictions in a spell-binding way.
Mia lives in Palmerston North, New Zealand, with their sister, mum and dad, and Lollipop, their adorable greyhound.
